Presley’s Graceland mansion was opened as a tourist attraction in 1982, and nearly half a million people visit it each year. Presley himself purchased the mansion in 1957. Over the next few years, he extensively remodeled the house and added a swimming pool, racquetball court, and many other features. Presley’s mansion is one of the most visited houses in the United States, and fans travel from all over the world to see it. Graceland is the second most-visited home in the country, only behind the White House.

Elvis was an exceptionally talented guitarist and drummer as well as a singer

While Elvis Presley is best known for his singing, he was also a talented guitarist and drummer. Presley was a self-taught guitarist, and he often played the instrument in his free time and in the recording studio.
